Home Air Check IAQ Testing Systems
Using proprietary air scanning methodologies and algorithms, a chemical analysis is performed with a Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and Fluorescence Spectroscopy. The instrumentation is routinely calibrated and can be traced to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) reference materials. From this analysis, comprehensive reports are generated (reports are emailed to you within 5 business days of receipt of your kit).
Your detailed report will include a Contamination Index, which gives you a prediction of which sources or materials in your home may be responsible for these contaminating chemicals, such as gasoline, paint, adhesives, odorants, personal care products, etc. Armed with this information, you can become well equipped to take appropriate steps to remove or reduce the sources of contamination and ultimately improve the quality of air your family breathes.
In order to capture the most representative Home Air Check IAQ air sample, we recommend you inform the occupants of the initial preparation steps: Ideal sampling temperature for the following locations is 70°F (21°C). Acceptable sampling temperature range is 60-80°F (15-27°C).
